Upper blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is the procedure where plastic surgeons remove and tighten excess skin; that may lead to bagginess; above or under the eyes.

Upper blepharoplasty is performing from slim incision in natural wrinkle on upper eyelids.

Before the surgery:

Basic blood tests: morphology, creatinine, blood coagulation index, prothrombin index

Type of anaesthesia: local

Recovery time: removal of the stitches after 7- 10 days from the treatment, swelling persist for few days, applying special cream with silicone after 4 weeks.

Scars: on upper eyelids hiding in natural wrinkle.


Patient after treatment doesn't need to stay overnight in the clinic.


Lower blepharoplasty:

Lower blepharoplasty is performing from incision just below the lash line of the lower eyelids. If there is excess fat under the eyes the incisions will be made inside the lower eyelids.

Type of anaesthesia: local

Recovery time: removal of the stitches after 7- 10 days from the treatment, swelling persist for few days, applying special cream with silicone after 4 weeks.

Scars: on lower eyelids hiding in lashes line.
